Appian Developer required by market leading, financial services organisation based in Newport. The Appian Developer will provide a full process development service to our clients internal and external client base.

Duties
*The Developer role optimises performance by enhancing the alignment between business processes and information technology. Proactively challenges the performance of current processes and systems and provides solutions that implement improvements to drive efficiency.
*Produce low level design for business process management.
*Develop and implement processes via current BPM tooling Appian and Kofax.
*Working collaboratively with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Development and Operational teams to advise, design and build cost effective process automation and management solutions.
*Proactively challenging the performance of current processes and systems to identify and provide automated solutions that implement improvements to drive efficiency.
*Travel to client sites for project delivery may be required.
*Work with stakeholders to understand current process and gather new requirements
*Liaise with internal teams or 3rd parties in refining solutions to requirements
*Operationally support Appian solutions
*Complete change controls for system configuration changes
*Own change controls and new client projects
*Support, Project & Change control work delivered within budgeted estimates
*Support Interpreting Business requirements into Appian Solutions
*Maintain and develop Appian processes according to requirements
*Develop knowledge of the BPM software industry
*Where applicable test change controls and produce test evidence acceptable for peer review, business sign off and Change Approval Board (CAB)

BACKGROUND

Essential
*Experience of using a BPM Software tools, preferably Appian.
*Understands the fundamental role of a BPM Development.
*Knowledge and appreciation of BPM Software and the industry.
*Experience of building or specifying technical solutions including database integration.
*Can communicate effectively within a customer service environment.
*Understanding and demonstration of competency in a technical environment
*Understanding and demonstration of competency in a development environment - requirements gathering, testing and delivery.
*Good oral and written skills

Desirable
*Degree level qualification in relevant subject
*Experience in system development
*SQL
*Experience in digital scanning, preferably Kofax
*Financial services experience
