ArtisHR are currently supporting an exciting business with the recruitment of a Employee Relations Partner - Field Based - Midlands (ideally reside in Birmingham area) - This role is pauying £34-37,000 pa and is a permanent post.
About the Employee Relations Partner Role:
We are looking for an Employee Relations Partner to provide advice and support to Line Managers on day to day Employee Relations matters and General HR Policy and procedures. This will involve case management of ER cases, supporting, training and coaching managers as required.

This role will hold responsibility for:
*Providing first line support to line managers on ER cases and related HR procedures, attending disciplinary, grievance, One Team or Appeal hearings as required
*Support line managers by providing standard template letters and documents relating to key HR and ER activity
*Support in managing long term absence and escalate cases to the People Business Partner when the decision to terminate on grounds of capability is approaching
*Support the ER Manager in the creation, training and maintenance of HR policy and procedures, including templates for the business and managers guidelines
*Support the People Business Partners in preparing documentation to support change programmes, specifically those resulting in redundancies or variations to contract as required
*Highlight to the ER Manager specific cases of concern and workloads if it increases about Business As Usual level
*Training managers on all ER processes

About you:
You'll be able to evidence:
*Strong Employee Relations (disciplinary and grievance case management, long term sick, whistleblowing) experience within a shared service environment or over multiple
locations
*Experience of managing a high volume of ER cases (30 to 40 cases) concurrently
*Excellent verbal and written communication
*Able to work to tight deadlines
*Ability to work from other locations for specific needs and at short notice
*Change management experience
*Experience of providing advice on probation
*Good basic excel skills

Desirable:
*ACEL, CIPD, other HR qualifications
*Change management experience
*Settlement agreement experience

Key relationships:
Internal: Line Managers, Location HR Admins, Senior People and People Business Partners, ER Manager; People Team, Other Business unit HR functions.
External: Occupational Health support providers, Pensions and PHI providers, Solicitors
