ArtisHR are currently supporting an exciting business in Taunton with the recruitment of a HR & Recruitment Advisor, this is a permanent full time post which offers development opportunities and is paying £20-25,000 pa.

Job Summary:

The HR Coordinator is responsible for the day to day delivery of a comprehensive and responsive operational HR Service for their designated region and supporting the wider group and subsidiaries when required.

The post holder will be responsible to oversee all HR administrative tasks within their designated region, and will be the first line of contact for all queries relating to policies and procedures. To ensure the provision of specialist professional support and guidance on operational and best practice issues in relation to all HR matters where appropriate.

To support the operational management of the HR Team's activities on a day to day basis in order to provide an effective, efficient and customer focussed service which meets the constant changing needs of managers, employees and members of the public.


Key Responsibilities:

*To ensure the provision of an efficient, effective and comprehensive HR service to all stakeholders, advising in all aspects of best practice and legislation within the end to end HR process.
*To ensure all employment standards are consistent with the organisation's values and meets the requirements of all national and local regulations, policies and procedures.
*To ensure effective use of HR systems and actively contribute improvements to ensure accuracy, access and compliance are priority.
*Support the development of a paperless and on-line HR transactional service by advising and working with colleagues to ensure robust processes and systems are in place.
*To provide specialist advice and guidance to managers and staff on legislation and best practice associated within the HR policies and processes.
*To be the first point of contact for all HR related queries and concerns.
*To signpost managers and staff to appropriate polices and documentation and external support where appropriate (e.g Occupational Health, EAP, Croner)
*To support line managers with employee relations and where required attend absence, grievance and disciplinary hearings.
*To support with minute taking and typing and presenting case notes of a sensitive nature as and when requested
*To escalate serious issues of concern to the HRBP when appropriate
*Support line managers with employee relations outcome letters by sharing templates and offering suggestions to ensure consistency and legislative obligations.
*To prepare case files compiling documentation and statements where required
*To ensure all people metrics are recorded accurately and timely for their designated region
*To support with some analytics of people metrics to understand areas of concern and recommend interventions
*To be a visible and supportive within the designated region and wider business areas, which will inevitably require some travel when necessary.
*Ensure is complaint in monitoring professional registrations, training profiles and DBS checks in accordance with internal policy and professional deadlines.
*Ensure employee records are maintained and evidenced, using appropriate HR and Rota systems and processes to carry out the administrative function.
*To manage all administrative tasks delivered, ensuring the provision of a high quality and efficient in house service in relation to data input and records maintenance of HR files.
*To assist with the regular review of HR processes and procedures, ensuring that the service is meeting the needs of the customers (managers and employees) and the needs of the organisation, implementing changes where appropriate and in accordance with risk management and governance standards and within legislative boundaries.
*Work in positive collaboration of the wider HR, Recruitment and Learning & OD Team to deliver an integrated support service. Demonstrating support and sharing expertise to colleagues when required.
*Assist with the support and development of the teams apprentices by offering encouragement, guidance and feedback to enhance their growth, skill and experience.
*To assist with specialist HR Training for line managers including preparing presentations, booking arrangements and supporting delivery where required.
*Undertake any other appropriate duties or project work within the department as required, supporting the senior HR team and other team members in accomplishment of short, medium and long term objectives and the ongoing development of the department
