The role of HR Assistant supports the HR Team and the business with HR transactional administration and reward administration processing. The role holder gives basic information and process-related advice to our customers in a specific region supporting the People Services strategy to offer an efficient and professional service maintaining and exceeding standards and service requirements
*Deliver HR Transactional processes (e.g change of terms, disciplinary invites etc) in line with standards and targets
*Provide accurate and appropriate information and process-related advice to customers and resolve any queries that might arise
*Identifying and contributing to process improvements/efficiencies as directed by HR Services Supervisor
*Inputting information and cleansing information in order to maintain the HR Payroll System
*Maintaining electronic employee files ensuring GDPR standards are met
*Involvement and support in specific projects and specialist areas
*Undertake rewards administration processing activity in line with agreed principles
*A basic knowledge of word and excel
*Comfortable using technology to create process efficiencies and learning new systems
*Has a full knowledge of HR processes, policies and procedures and can apply this to the situation
*Able to work within a fast paced working environment, organise their own time, prioritising workload against deadlines
*Effective written and verbal communicator across all levels within the business; able to tailor their approach depending on the situation
*Flexible, enthusiastic and positive approach.
*Able to cope under pressure and prioritise demands
*Ability to influence managers and employees to follow people procedures.
*Open to change resulting from improvements to processes
*Effective at building relationships with all regular contacts.
