Working with 2 HR Business Partners, and reporting to a strong and supportive Head of HR, you will be the first port of call for HR information, policy and procedures and ensure the maintenance of accurate and current people information for the company. You will also have the opportunity for proactive involvement in training and development, technology and organisational development projects as part the Company's evolving HR strategy and this role has great career potential.
Responsibilities Reporting to the Head of HR:
*Support managers in respect of induction processes and the sign off of probationary periods.
*Contribute to the ongoing improvement of HR processes and procedures
*Act as first line support for HR, people and recruitment needs, in liaison with the HR Advisor
*Offer advice and guidance on maternity and paternity leave, in liaison with the HR Advisor
*Implement HR and other administrative project work as delegated
*Prepare regular HR KPI information
*Update HR policies and procedures in line with legislation as guided by HR Advisor
*Maintain the Company's training and development plan, dealing with the organisation and administration of all training and development events and activities
*Organisation and delivery of day 1 induction for all new starters
*Organise and attend University Fairs and look after wider graduate recruitment
*Note taking at various HR meetings, such as disciplinaries and sickness
*Maintain all company job descriptions, ensuring accuracy of information at all times
*Log and review all company appraisals to ensure complete and accurate records are maintained
*Support a consistent HR approach across the company
Essential Qualifications and Experience
The successful candidate will:
*Have exceptional IT skills, specifically an advanced knowledge of Excel
*Be able to deal with sensitive information with empathy and utmost confidentiality
*Be self-motivated and able to work flexibly and collaboratively across departments
*Have excellent interpersonal skills and a practical 'can do' attitude
*Be highly organised and able to juggle competing demands on their time
*Have excellent communication skills both written and oral
*Be fully committed to the company's values and continual improvement.
