Artis HR are currently looking for an experienced strategic Head of HR for a fantastic client just north of Cheltenham. This is a permanent full time post paying £60-70,000 + 15% bonus.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Human Resources who can be instrumental to the ongoing expansion and development of our HR team and our exciting, rapidly growing global business. This is a fantastic newly created opportunity for someone with a growth focused mind-set as we enter interesting and progressive times as a business.

You will be given autonomy to build and shape the HR journey alongside a well-resourced HR team, both locally and internationally. This is a critical role that requires someone with both the experience of leading a team of HR professionals and also the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

What does the role entail?
Leading a proactive HR function to deliver the people strategy
Managing multiple stakeholders, with a dual reporting line to Sector VP HR and VP/General Manager.
Working with the senior leadership team, providing expert guidance and leadership. You will form part of the divisional leadership team.
Working as part of the Sector HR Leadership Team with a global presence.
Oversee and lead on employee matters & engagement, compensation and benefits, reward, professional growth and performance management.
Leading on the building and communication of our employer brand
Developing talent acquisition pipelines to develop top talent including on-boarding of international employees as required.
Managing and maintaining our compliance; functioning as a subject matter expert on human resource legal and compliance issues
Building and supporting a people focussed culture of high performance while aligning with other global groups, values, mission and vision.

What skills will I need to be successful?
Senior level expertise and previous experience in a comparable human resources position
MCIPD Qualified
Ability to manage strategic HR and recruitment best practice, policy and procedures with KPIs and metrics
Understanding of compensation and benefits laws and regulations in the UK
Experience in advising and influencing leadership teams, preferably in a fast paced, high growth environment.
Experience building and managing a team of HR professionals
Able to effectively and quickly build relationships and establish trust, respect, competence and confidence; able to work at multiple levels
High emotional intelligence with strong problem-resolution skills
Experience of using project management tools and techniques
Strong analytical and organisational skills
Experience in working in organisations across numerous countries, continents and time zones would be desirable but not essential
