The Corporate Communications team is a relatively new function in this organisation, built out of an increasing demand to increase employee engagement. In this role you'll work closely in partnership with the UK HR team to drive the UK internal communications strategy. You'll take ownership of all UK channels and campaigns, including developing content, social media and events. Upcoming projects include a large scale employee engagement survey which you'll own on the UK level (from design to delivery and analysis), new brand values roll out and an employer brand project.
Reporting into the Group Head of Corporate Communications, you'll also have a dotted line into the UK Operational HR Director. In this fast paced and busy environment, my client is looking for a communicator who can bring energy and enthusiasm to the team combined with a common sense and down to earth approach. This is a great role for an experienced communicator to take the next step in their career, in a role with a broad remit and plenty of opportunity for the right person.
The ideal candidate will have:
*3-5 years internal communications background, as part of a wider HR team or delivering HR focused communications
*Strong writing skills, able to adapt to various audiences and advise on tone of voice
*Excellent relationship building skills, able to influence stakeholders across the business at all levels
*Experience of Office 365 and Sharepoint required, and video would be desirable
*Experience communicating to front line employees or a disparate workforce, with a strong understanding of the challenges this may bring
*Naturally collaborative and values driven approach, genuinely a self starter with a resilient and 'can do' attitude
*A full driving licence as there will be travel required to other regional sites across the UK
This interesting role has a competitive salary of £40,000 plus benefits including a car allowance, an enhanced pension scheme, 25 days holiday plus bank holiday and more.
