Risk Analyst required by global rail sector organisation in Central London. The Risk Analyst will sit within our clients PMO function and will be supporting the Risk Manager in the successful roll-out of their risk management framework and portfolio of projects.

The Risk Analyst will be responsible for the following:

*Ensure that Project Risk Management Procedures and activities comply with the requirements of the enterprise risk management framework.
*Facilitate the identification and analysis of risks at all stages within the Project Lifecycle.
*Carry out qualitative, quantitative and business risk assessments to give the best advice to project managers and financial controllers.
*Provide regular reports to project and risk managers on the risk status of the current project.
*Advise projects on appropriate management of contingency.
*Support the development, reporting and establishment of key performance metrics to effectively visualise the Risk profile of each project
*Support the risk management processes in other departments and areas of the business.
*Maintain alignment with best practice guidelines and recommend continuous process improvements as and when required

Required education/qualifications:

*Qualified to degree level, or equivalent training and experience relating to Risk Management
*PRINCE2 Certified, APMP or an equivalent

This role would suit a Senior Risk Manager with the following skills & attributes:

*Skilled in all aspects of project and business risk management facilitation.
*Able to build complicated cost, schedule and business risk models in a number of applications.
*Able to explain the results of risk assessments to non-specialists
*Can suggest appropriate risk management actions for identified risks.
*Knowledge of risk management techniques.
*Experience in collaboratively supporting a project delivery teams to identify and management project risk.
*Experience in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.

Any experience of the following would be advantageous but by no means essential:

*Membership of the Institute of Risk Management or Association for Project Management Risk Practitioner.
*Experience in project Management or engineering environment or rolling stock design/operations environment.
