Change Manager required by market leading professional services sector organisation based in the centre of Bristol. You will need to be onsite 1-2 days per week (With flexibility). The Change Manager will be an important part of our clients programme office and will be responsible for leading the change management in designated projects across our clients strategic portfolio.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Apply change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by those designated projects or initiatives
  • Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications in conjunction with our clients communications team.
  • Conduct change impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
  • Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs.
  • Complete change management assessments.
  • Identify, analyse and prepare risk mitigation tactics.
  • Consult and coach project teams.
  • Support and engage senior leaders.
  • Coach managers and supervisors.
  • Support organisational design and definition of roles and responsibilities.
  • Coordinate efforts with other specialists.
  • Integrate change management activities into project plan.
  • Evaluate and ensure user readiness.
  • Manage stakeholders.
  • Lead implementation and embedding of the change.
  • Track and report issues.
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress.
  • Manage the change portfolio.

Required Background:

  • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process.
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
  • Experience and understanding of how project management principles apply to change management principles.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent active listening skills.
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
  • Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere.
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills.
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organisational issues and challenges.
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Change management certification or designation desired (e.g. Association of Change Management Professionals, Change Management Institute). - Nice to have

This fantastic role comes with a basic salary of £55,000-60,000 p/a plus a bespoke training package. This is accompanied with the following benefits: Remote working, annual salary review, 25 days holiday (which will increase to 30 days based upon length of service), private medical insurance, pension and many more. This will include a bonus scheme which is being introduced in the Summer.
