Provide an informed, agile, professional and effective end-to-end recruitment solution to stakeholders and a positive experience for applicants; recruiting directly wherever and whenever possible but with an opportunity to engage with agencies for niche roles.
*Provide consistent and pragmatic advice, guidance and support on all recruitment, attraction and selection matters, escalating issues to the Resourcing Manager where appropriate;
*Take personal responsibility for the entire recruitment lifecycle on set assignments, from sourcing to onboarding; managing candidates' and hiring managers' expectations, providing updates and feedback, and supporting candidates with pre-employment checks;
*Create diverse and inclusive attraction campaigns which attract the best people, prioritising the best sourcing method to fill the role and balancing this with direct sourcing targets;
*Collaborate with hiring managers to develop selection criteria which are fair, consistent and rigorous - to test the candidate's skills, knowledge, experience and general attitude in relation to the role;
*Provide support and training to hiring managers, and those involved in the recruitment and selection of people, to ensure no discrimination occurs in any of our selection processes;
*Build and maintain trusted relationships with colleagues, and the wider People Team, to ensure early involvement in decisions that impact recruitment;
*Engage with external talent through networking, researching, mapping and creating candidate pools when sourcing for repeat requirements;
*Work with and maintain the recruitment management system, HARBOUR, with a high level of data integrity, safeguarding candidate personal information and ensuring compliance with GDPR principles of best-practice;
*Collaborate with the Resourcing Manager on the development our employer value proposition, creating a strong and recognisable employer brand, fully leveraged for the purpose of attraction and retention of talent;
*Contribute to identification of appropriate sourcing channels which ensure a healthy pipeline of quality candidates for current and future requirements;
*Assist with any recruitment related projects or events, taking the lead where appropriate;
*Keep abreast of employment legislation (appropriate to recruitment), advice, technology and best practice, and work with the wider People Team to ensure company policies, procedures and guidance are updated to remain compliant;
Experience - Desirable
*Up to date knowledge of recruitment best practice and employment;
*legislation and applying these in a business context Proven capability to operate in a multi-site, fast paced organisation
