To support and advise on the development of and to execute the reward strategy and activities that support the delivery of the UK's business objectives.
Accountabilities & Activities:
*Works with the Reward Director, Head of HR and People Director providing specialist input and advice and delivery of reward activities to employed and self-employed groups.
*Contributes to the development and implementation of reward initiatives to support the achievement of UK's business objectives, including pay, non-financial reward, incentives and benefits.
*Supports the Reward team in the delivery of reward projects.
*Influences the strategic development of the reward approach within the business
*Delivers initiatives that underpin the reward of employees in the client group including issues relating to job evaluation, bonuses/incentives (including sales incentives where appropriate), annual merit award, flexible benefits and salary benchmarking.
*Ensures that operational pay and benefits practices within the client group reflect best practices, latest thinking and are of the highest quality.
*Delivers robust end-to-end reward processes for the client group and measures their effectiveness and proposes changes to their form where required. This includes basic pay, Staff Bonus and Management Bonus schemes, Sales/acquisition Incentives Schemes (where applicable) and People Boards.
*Works closely with Head of HR, People Director and Partners and with managers to provide expert advice on reward and compensation issues, including providing detailed reward analysis where required to support advice and guidance.
*Effectively consults, supports and influences UK People Team, managers and senior leaders in reward activity, including annual pay and bonus review process, including all business unit specific schemes, salary benchmarking/job evaluation and variable pay schemes.
*Influences the design of and manages reward related aspects of the Performance Management cycle.
*Influences the design, ownership and implementation of Recognition & incentive schemes for centralised and local business units.
*Responsible for all Benefits for employed and self-employed groups for example - car allocation.
*Gives Pensions scheme oversight and is the accountable owner working with 3rd party providers and People Operations for Pensions.
*Designs, implements and reviews the correct materials ensuring the most appropriate training and support is given to managers when changes to policy or process are made.
*Manages relationships closely with key partners in all aspects of reward delivery, including UK and Centre HR colleagues, People Operations and any new and existing external partners and suppliers.
*Works with key stakeholders in the business to deliver the best reward programmes, in a strong and capable consultative style.
*Previous technical reward experience.
*Broad understanding of Reward.
*Numerical and analytical skills experience and working in environment that requires strong attention to detail.
*Experience of job evaluation methodologies.
*Experience of working with and influencing business stakeholders and roles and holding roles which demand good problem solving ability and the need to make decisions that positively impact the business.
*Holding previous roles that required strong communication, influencing, judgement, persuasiveness and negotiating skills.
*Experience of working with people at many levels of the organisation.
*Previous experience in TW or Hay methodology is beneficial.
*General/Operational HR as well as Employee Relations experience
Mandatory Qualifications / Accreditations:
There are no mandatory qualifications for this role. The role holder will need to be CIPD qualified or equivalent.
