First Line IT Helpdesk Support required by award winning legal sector organisation based in Swindon. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for users' IT and Business Support requests, logging queries and ensuring response-handling is done in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

*First line support is to be provided to users, and if you can't help then there will be other team members to escalate to.
*Technical support: IT HelpDesk, asset management (including laptops and mobile devices) and technical training.
*Infrastructure: networks and systems, servers (physical and virtualised), disaster recovery, business continuity and IT security.
*Development: acquiring appropriate business applications for the Fee Earning and business services functions.
*You may also have the opportunity to work closely with relevant stake holders and the organisations software providers to help with the implementation of projects across the firm.

Skills and Experience

*Previous experience in a 1st Line HelpDesk Support role.
*Understand that time is of the essence, and therefore be a self-motivated individual with excellent communication and organisation skills.
*You will have a positive and friendly approach to all users and be able to come up with creative solutions and see beyond complexity to identify the core issues facing the business.
*Have a working knowledge of IT hardware (PC, Laptop, Printer, VOIP Telephony etc), Microsoft Windows (7, 8 and 10) and Office 2010/2016, networking and Active Directory administration
*Experience with Xerox MFDs would be a huge advantage to you.

This Fantastic opportunity comes with a starting salary of £20,000-24,500 p/a and benefits such as 25 days per annum (rising to 27 with service), Private medical and dental insurance, contributory pension and Gym discounts to name a few.
