My client is a unique and exciting business going through a period of significant growth… with more to come! Due to this growth as well as some succession planning, they are looking to recruit a Logistics Administration Manager. The role is responsible for overseeing all administration aspects of delivering stock globally, as well as the liaison / communication with overseas port agents, freight forwarders and customs brokers.
This is a fantastic role for someone with strong Customs knowledge coupled with Import / Export (or both) experience. There is a great team atmosphere, so cultural fit is crucial with this role. You must be prepared to roll your sleeves up and assist during critical times; but also have excellent planning / organisation skills to ensure potential problems are identified and prevented.
*Oversee all administration aspects of delivering stock worldwide
*Role will become functional head of the logistics administration department - team of 10
*Maintain compliance on all customs procedures, Warehouse / Excise / Transit's / EMCS / NCTS
*Own the company relationship with HMRC
*Manage the provision of out of office hours contact with port agents & customers
*Track and record all stock movements, and be the company logistics focal point
*Must have strong experience in working with customs
*Import or Export experience or both
*Ideally from a logistics background with team management experience
*Have worked with International companies
*Microsoft Office proficiency
