Our fast growing technology client is looking for a Talent Manager in order to align their group Talent strategy. The role is a mixture of identifying talent/succession, performance, managing early years and ensuring the on boarding strategy is comprehensive and fit for purpose. The role has variety and has a significant impact on the quality and development of new employees coming into a "Global" working environment. The new "working from home policy" means circa one day per week in the head office. Other key responsibilities will include.

Lead the new approach to Performance Management bringing expertise and thought leadership to evolve the agenda and explore new ways of thinking about and driving individual/team and organisational performance. Partner with functional and local HR teams to drive a culture of high performance across teams.
Lead the development of the new talent agenda and strategy - operationalising talent reviews, succession planning and driving internal mobility.
Lead the approach to ongoing development and deployment of current and future leadership talent.
Own the approach to performance and talent assessments (aligning to talent acquisition) - e.g. sourcing the appropriate psychometric tools, assessments, 360 etc. working with external partners. In conjunction with Director of Talent, Learning and Performance and L&D Manager, ensure assessments are embedded into all development activities
Own the approach to early careers - graduates, interns and apprentices. Design, development and delivery of our new approach.

This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody with experience in Talent Management/Development, perhaps a background in early Talent Acquisition that has moved more towards Talent in general. Some "Early Years" experience would be beneficial as would somebody who has had some responsibility for performance management. The scope to develop within this organisation is huge. It requires somebody that is commercial and able to demonstrate excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
