Artis HR are currently supporting an exciting business with offices in Bristol and Swindon (can be based in either) with the recruitment of a Talent & Development Partner role, this is a permanent position paying £45-50,000 pa.

PURPOSE

To develop and enable talent across the business to enhance a high performing culture and assist in retaining staff to enable growth in line with our aspirations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

*Identify capability gaps and devise talent strategies
*Develop and implement talent and succession planning
*Work with the business on developing career paths
*Design, develop and deliver (or arrange for appropriate persons to deliver) a blended approach to learning interventions such as e-learning and bite sized training programmes
*To source and book external ad hoc training, coaching and webinars as required
*Develop activities for emerging talent and future leaders
*Manage the trainee administration cycle through the training contract, managing seat rotations, seat review process, booking of professional skills course, support on time to count applications and coordination of SRA admission process forms
*Monitoring of Continued Professional Development, ensuring lawyers meet the requirements of the SRA
*Develop and maintain an interactive resource centre on the intranet
*Manage the mentoring programme
*Develop and coordinate a process for monitoring and measuring learning activity
*Work with HR Advisors on the apprenticeship/work placement programmes
*Provide coaching as required
*To administer training and subscription requests and funding agreements
*To administer and support the onboarding and induction process


THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

Ideally CIPD qualified, you will have:

*Proven experience in designing and implementing talent programmes including succession planning and developing career paths
*Excellent knowledge of L&D theory and practice
*Experience in developing and delivering training materials, ideally within professional services
*Experience of conducting TNA and delivering recommendations
*Proven experience in coaching - a qualification would be ideal
*Knowledge and experience of using psychometrics would be beneficial
*Strong administrative and organisational skills
*Able to prioritise a busy workload managing competing demands
*Excellent communication and influencing skills, building relationships at all levels and ensuring the wider HR team are kept up to date with developments within the remit of your role
*A proactive approach, be innovative in considering alternative solutions
*Experience at driving change and making things happen
*Excellent knowledge of Microsoft products, experience in e-learning would be beneficial
*Previous experience of working within a law firm or professional services
