Artis Communications are exclusively supporting a global FTSE 100 as they look to appoint a Head of Corporate Communications at a group level, to be predominantly based in Gloucestershire. This is a permanent position but the client will also consider contract or temp to perm options, as well as exploring full and part time options.

At an exciting time for the organisation, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading the design and delivery of the corporate communications strategy ensuring this is aligned with the wider business objectives. This will encompass a wide range of communications initially predominantly focused on external shareholder messaging (including financial reporting/results), crisis communications and increasingly PR and Social Media.

Internal communications for the organisation is relatively underdeveloped and will be an increasing area of focus for the business in the coming years, giving the successful applicant an invaluable opportunity to shape the Group’s internal communications strategy.

This is a great role for an experienced Corporate Communications professional to take on a new challenge in a successful business with real breadth to grow the function.

The ideal candidate will have:

·A strong communications background, with a blend of internal and external messaging

·A track record of developing and implementing a successful communications strategy and campaigns

·Strong relationship building skills, able to effectively manage stakeholders at all levels with credibility and a naturally collaborative style

·People management experience would be good to have as you’ll have 1 direct report

·Experience of financial reporting and regulatory announcements would be highly desirable as would exposure to managing budgets and press enquiries

·A background of navigating large, complex and preferably global corporate environments

This excellent opportunity comes with a strong remuneration package to reflect the level of the role. There is a competitive salary of £80,000 - £85,000 (depending on experience, with potential further flexibility) plus benefits including discretionary bonus, car allowance, enhanced pension and more. A relocation package may be considered for an exceptional candidate.

The client is looking to move quickly with this requirement so immediately available candidates or those with a short notice period would be preferred.
