It is rare that a role with such an interesting blend of responsibilities, across a global footprint comes to the market. Artis HR are delighted to be retained by this International Group to appoint this new Senior HR Business Partner role.
Based near Cheltenham (But with substantial remote working) this is a superb opportunity to lead the implementation of the HR strategy for the Division based across Europe, US and Australia.

As the Head of for the division, your team will be made up of in country HR leads, all of whom have substantial local market knowledge and experience. There are international Group level Centres of Excellence that you will work closely with, supported by a small centralised HR service function that you will lead.

You will be a key member of the Divisional Senior Leadership team alongside the other heads of function, and will contribute to the commercial success of each business within the division. It is a SLT that understands people are at the centre of their expansion plans.

The Group are a Technology and Digital specialist and as such experience within a similar or related specialist/ technical sector would be advantageous, though not essential. As part of a Global large Group an understanding of how to navigate and deliver effective results in a moderately complex matrix will also be important.

You will lead the function to support substantial and ambitious plans. This will be through continued organic growth and potential international acquisitions.

You will be offered the autonomy to lead HR across the business where different internal cultures and structures are encouraged to ensure they flourish. At the same time you will have the support of an accomplished HR VP who enjoys coaching, supporting and developing the careers of their direct reports
You will be looked upon to develop innovative and forward thinking people plans that can be both developed across the International Division and at a local in country level.

Functionally you will have strong broad experience, and you will not directly manage the centres of excellence, by co-ordinating activity you will have a broad understanding of Reward Strategies, OD, Talent and Resourcing.

You will be a natural executive BP and confidant, whilst still offering real hands on support to your own team.
As a matrix structure you will also understand and be able to deliver HR MI and reporting on a regular and consistent basis, understanding that this can provide a foundation from which you can understand areas for further development.
