Artis Procurement and Supply Chain are pleased to be supporting this established retail brand in their search for an Order Optimisation Manager to join their busy digital distribution and fulfilment team. The role will play a major part in the implementation of a new order management system that will enable the business to choose the most efficient fulfilment route, helping to reduce cost, increase sales, improve delivery times and enhance the overall customer experience.

Order Optimisation Manager responsibilities…

  • Develop an understanding of current fulfilment set up to identify how the control processes impact customer experience, capacity and cost.
  • Engage with the fulfilment stakeholders across the business (Digital, Logistics, Commercial, Retail Operations, Finance) and build relationships and to prioritise business and information needs.
  • Oversee experiment design and measurement for testing new features and optimising existing capabilities.
  • Interpret data results using multiple data sources and statistical techniques and provide actionable insight and recommendations.
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and quality.
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
  • Play an central role in the development of our new Data Platform, ensuring Digital Product requirements are met.
  • Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. Communicate these back through simple data story telling.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the group Order Management team to develop the functionality of the product.
  • Support other Home Delivery projects as required.

Order Optimisation Manager experience…

  • Proven working experience as a digital data analyst.
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks).
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc).
  • Experience in A/B test design, measurement and interpretation.
  • Strong reasoning skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information, from multiple sources, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively cross functionally and communicate data in a compelling and meaningful way.
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
  • Ability to build a business case and to ‘sell’ it to stakeholders.

This is remotely based role, however you would need to be able to travel to key locations in London and the South West. The role has an excellent salary, bonus and benefits including pension, car allowance, 33 days holidays healthcare, share scheme and much more.
