Are you experienced in implementing or improving a purchase to pay process? If so we have a very interesting interim role working for a reasonably sizeable SME in the position of Project Accountant - P2P. Initially for 3 months commencing at the beginning of September this position will be based near Tiverton and requires a process driven finance professional to understand the current operating method and overhaul it bringing it up to date with how a sizeable and growing medium sized company needs to operate. You will need to make processes slicker, more integrated with the wider business and less "clunky". Working for a supportive board who recognise the need for improvement you will be someone who can see the bigger picture and future proof the new improved way of operating dealing with all the nitty gritty process documentation and utilising to the full the system at your disposal. You will have excellent people skills, be able to communicate easily with colleagues at all levels and be sensitive to the long tenured workforce relating to apprehension with change. This will be the first of a few projects earmarked by the business that requires improvement so whilst the initial project will likely be around 3 months there will be further longer term opportunities for the right person. This role is offered on a fixed term contract basis however applications from hourly/daily rate contractors are still encouraged.
