Procurement Sourcing Assistant

Sourcing Assistant Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the procurement team to identify suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Conduct market research to evaluate new and existing suppliers, identifying cost-saving and quality improvement opportunities.
• Assist in developing procurement strategies that drive efficiency and value.
• Track and analyse procurement data to identify trends and improvements.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and contracts while ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Monitor delivery schedules and resolve supplier issues to maintain smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure best practices are followed.

What We’re Looking For:

• 1-3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective supplier management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive and organised approach to managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry standards.
• Working towards a procurement or supply chain qualification (desirable).
