Artis Procurement, Purchasing and Supply Chain are pleased to be supporting this growing global manufacturer who are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Supply Chain Manager to join and lead their supply chain team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing supply chain operations and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This is a senior leadership role and will require strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills.
Senior Supply Chain Manager Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with overall business objectives.
* Manage the end-to-end supply chain process, including demand planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
* Monitor and analyse supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, production, and procurement, to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
* Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and quality delivery of goods and services.
* Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
* Mentor and develop team members to achieve professional growth and contribute to the success of the supply chain team.
Senior Supply Chain Manager experience and qualifications:
* Strong demonstrable experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
* Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and practices, including demand planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution
* Demonstrated experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives and achieving operational excellence.
* Excellent analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
* Excellent leadership skills, able to mentor and develop your team to deliver high performance.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
* Relevant supply chain, procurement or purchasing qualifications are desirable.
