Transport Planner

Are you a transport planner looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience of South West planning? Can you work in Avonmouth? If this sounds like you then we’d be keen to hear from you as our client is looking for someone to join their team asap. Supporting the senior management team you’ll be responsible for the following:

-Assist in management and utilisation of the haulage fleet including subcontractors

-Advance planning of the routes for all vehicles and contacting customers regarding timings

-Provide drivers with important routing information and site specific instructions

-Re-routing drivers as and when required quickly and efficiently.

-Tracking drivers progress and update client when required or requested.

-Provide information regarding incoming and out going material

-Assist with accident investigation and reporting
