Financial Crime Officer

We’re looking for a proactive Financial Crime Officer to join a growing Operations team. In this role, you’ll help protect members by investigating fraud, detecting suspicious activity, and preventing financial crime. You’ll work across fraud investigations and financial crime monitoring, using data, judgement, and empathy to make fair, evidence-based decisions.

You’ll handle cases ranging from unauthorised transactions and fraud claims to AML alerts and unusual account behaviour, communicating directly with members to gather information and explain next steps clearly. You’ll also collaborate with colleagues to improve processes, refine detection rules, and ensure investigations are accurate, compliant, and well-documented.

The ideal candidate is curious, analytical, and empathetic, with strong communication skills and an interest in fraud, AML, and financial crime prevention. If you enjoy problem-solving, making decisions, and working collaboratively, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact.
