Application Support Analyst

Application Support Analyst required by a leading organisation in the professional services sector. This role offers the chance to play a key part in supporting and improving core IT systems, ensuring business-critical applications run smoothly.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous application support experience who enjoys problem-solving, collaborating with technical teams, and making a tangible impact on system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for core line of business applications, resolving incidents and service requests within agreed timescales.
• Monitor application health, data processing, and integrations to ensure service continuity.
• Investigate recurring issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation, FAQs, and support procedures.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams on release cycles, testing, and validating system updates.

About You:

• Previous experience in an application support or technical support role.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident communicator, able to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Organised, methodical, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• A consultative approach with the ability to simplify technical issues for non-technical audiences.

Desirable:

• 2+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of the professional services sector.
• Relevant qualifications or progression towards IT certifications.

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary: £27,000 – £35,000 depending on experience
• Hybrid working – 2 days per week in the Cirencester office
