Diversity & Inclusion Lead

Our client, based in Bristol is looking to hire a Diversity and Inclusion Lead role to drive their organisation towards a more inclusive and equitable future. By drawing on external best practices in ED&I, this role will lead strategic initiatives to position the organisation as an equitable and inclusive workplace, resulting in better outcomes for their customers, enhanced employee engagement, and sustainable business performance.

Based in the amazing offices 2/3 days a week you will work closely with the People team. The role will work collaboratively with others within and across the organisation to drive forward ambitious programmes of change and growth.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Thought leadership and bench marking: stay at the forefront of thought leadership in ED&I and continuously benchmark existing practices against industry standards, ensuring the approach remains cutting-edge and value-driven.
  • ED&I strategy: input to, implement, and refine the existing ED&I strategy to achieve corporate goals.
  • Create and implement an ED&I road map to systematically close existing gaps and drive continuous improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with senior internal stakeholders to understand their needs and gain buy in for ED&I related change.
  • Run internal forums such as the diversity and inclusion committee and diversity task force, utilising these groups to improve the approach to ED&I.
  • Deliver key messages through internal and external communications working with the ED&I specialist marketing team.

 

The Successful Candidate:

A track record of significant ED&I impact in commercial organisations.  You’ll be able to demonstrate resilience and excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.  You will possess a strong external network with ED&I related groups and individuals.  You will have strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret and present data to drive decision-making and measure effectiveness.
