Employee Relations Advisor - 5M FTC

Artis HR is proud to be partnering with a well-established, values-driven organisation in the not-for-profit care sector as they look to appoint an experienced ER Advisor on a fixed-term contract.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in employee relations and is passionate about making a meaningful impact. You’ll play a key role in providing calm, confident, and proactive HR support to managers-helping them navigate casework and people matters with empathy and consistency.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll join a warm, collaborative HR team and act as a trusted advisor across operational teams in care, housing, and support services. Day-to-day, your focus will be on providing expert ER support and coaching managers through a wide range of HR situations.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading on employee relations casework, including absence, disciplinaries, grievances, and performance.

Coaching and guiding managers to manage people matters fairly and confidently.

Supporting investigations and formal meetings (note-taking, preparation, follow-up).

Advising on employment law, internal policies, and best practice.

Promoting a positive, inclusive and values-led workplace culture.

What you’ll bring:

We’re looking for someone with solid experience in a generalist or HR advisory role, who’s confident handling employee relations cases independently and brings a calm, pragmatic approach to problem-solving.

You’ll need to demonstrate:

Proven HR advisory/generalist experience, ideally in complex or fast-paced environments

Strong working knowledge of UK employment law

The ability to coach, influence, and build strong relationships at all levels

CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent experience / currently working towards)

Experience in a regulated or care setting is desirable but not essential
