Financial Controller

Are you a finance professional looking for a challenging new role in a fast paced end product business? Do you have excellent people skills and the ability to liaise with colleagues at all levels? If so we have an amazing opportunity to join a relatively small and very friendly finance team in the position of financial controller at their offices near Cross Hands. Working as part of a team of 6 and reporting to a really supportive Head of Finance this role will manage two accounts assistants along with supporting the financial month end close, vat returns, compliance for year end audit, analysis and identifying lots of areas of efficiency and process improvements. You’ll be someone who doesn’t shy away from the more mundane financial accounting work along with enjoying the more “added value” tasks in finance and you’ll be someone who really enjoys getting the best out of people and making ways of working better. This role is based on site Monday to Thursday (WFH Fridays) and requires a qualified or experienced QBE accountant in order to hit the ground running.
