Artis Recruitment are working with a leading organisation with multiple locations across the UK, who are seeking a new Head of Internal Communications. Working flexibly, around 50% of your time will be spent in the office (London or Bristol) leading a team to deliver effective communications that facilitate two-way engagement with their people. You’ll also provide communications consultancy and develop and deliver critical communications programmes across the business.
You’ll help their people connect to the organisation’s purpose, live the values, and become advocates for business. You’ll help drive engagement and alignment behind the strategic business priorities, helping build clarity for people on their contribution to these.
Other key accountabilities
You will have previous experience of developing internal comms strategies and managing employee communication having worked in similar large complex companies, with a proven track record of working collaboratively with senior peers. You will possess excellent written communication skills including advanced copy writing and storytelling ability to engage and motivate a dispersed employee base. An exceptional communicator you will have the ability to build effective relationships across stakeholders at all levels of the business up to Executive team/Board level. Lastly, you will have the ability to work within a fast-paced environment, who is also able to effectively prioritise workload and be adaptable to last minutes changes.
