Interim Finance Process Improvement Specialist

Are you a finance professional with strong financial services experience? Do you have process improvement and mapping experience within a finance function? Are you ready for your next contract? Our Bristol based financial services client is going through significant change and they need external resource to join them on a 9 month fixed term contract to help with improving the ways in which they work. Finance processes have been identified where the “steps to complete” need to be drastically reduced so you’ll be re-engineering processes, mapping “as is” and working with business subject matter experts to identify “what is to be” and “how to get there”. You’ll be a finance professional who understands all areas of finance and is excellent at process mapping and ensuring “buy in” from the SMT on what needs to be done. You’ll be looking at various areas of finance within your contract ranging from month end and all the associated reporting through to Opex/Capex, property accounting and some smaller more quick fix finance process improvements. You’ll have excellent communication skills, have a big company background and be engaging with all levels of colleagues. This is a fabulous interim role for a finance professional who wants to use their process improvement skills in a complex environment. This role requires office presence as much as possible due to the type of work you’ll be doing and the relationships you’ll be building but minimum once a week.
