Joint Venture Reporting Accountant

Are you a UK qualified accountant with reporting experience able to start a new 18 month fixed term contract in the next 4 weeks? If so we have a brilliant role working for a market leading business based in central Bristol who due to a secondment within the finance function need to bolster the reporting team. You’ll be taking responsibility for accounting within the joint venture team and owning the management reporting and month end processes along with supporting finance business partners with technical accounting issues. You’ll be providing reports to the SMT, carrying out forecasting and budgeting work as well as liaising with operational teams helping them to manage and understand capex and fixed asset information. Ideally your background will be from within a larger and more corporate or head office environment and you’ll be happy working on a hybrid working basis where 3 days in the office will be required. This business is going through significant systems transformations hence the need for someone to cover BAU in order to release colleagues for these transformation projects and in time there is a high possibility that for the right person a permanent role or certainly a contract extension will be likely.
