Management Accountant

Location: Pontypridd

Artis are proud to be representing a leading food and drink manufacturing company committed to delivering high-quality products. There is now an opening for a management accountant to join the ever growing team. This role is on site 5 days a week. You will support the Financial Controller in monitoring and driving the financial performance of the plant.

The Role

– Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

– Technical close in SAP.

– Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with company objectives and financial targets.

– Cost Analysis: Analyse production costs, overhead expenses, and pricing strategies to optimize profitability and cost efficiency.

– Upload monthly accounts (P&L / balance sheet), and additional KPIs for group consolidation team.

– Verify and align intercompany balances with management accountants of other plants.

– Managing, reviewing and monitoring the cost accounting process to control current and future operations

The Person

– You are CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or studying.

– You have minimum 2 years of relevant experience, experience in one of the Big 4 is advantageous

– You have good communication skills

– You have excellent knowledge of IT tools, including Microsoft Excel. Experience with SAP, Hyperion Financial Management and/or Power BI is a plus
