Media & AV Specialist

Media & AV Specialist required by market leading, award winning, professional services organisation based in Bristol. This is a 5 day a week onsite role.

The Media & AV Specialist will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality media and audio-visual experiences across the organisation. Based in the central Bristol office, this role combines hands-on media production with expert AV support to ensure seamless internal and client-facing events.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the day-to-day operation of the media suite, maintain and organise equipment, coordinate bookings, and support teams across the business. This includes filming, editing, and producing multimedia content for training, events, marketing, and social media, optimised for multiple platforms.

Additionally, the Media & AV Specialist will act as a primary point of contact for AV support during meetings and events, troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring a smooth experience for hybrid and in-person sessions. Collaboration with Marketing, Communications, IT, and Facilities teams is essential to maintain high production standards and integrate new technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the media suite, keeping equipment organised, maintained, and ready for use.
  • Maintain inventory of cameras, microphones, lighting, editing software, and other AV equipment.
  • Schedule and coordinate media suite usage.
  • Capture and edit video content for events, training, promotional materials, and social media.
  • Create engaging multimedia content, including videos, graphics, and motion design, optimised for multiple platforms.
  • Set up and operate AV equipment for meetings, webinars, presentations, and events.
  • Provide technical support for live and hybrid events, diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Ensure media content is securely backed up and archived.
  • Support meeting room setups and maintain a “ready-for-business” environment.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in media production and AV support.
  • Professional services experience is desirable.
  • Proficient in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
  • Knowledge of AV hardware/software and platforms (e.g., Crestron, Extron, digital signage).
  • Confident in supporting live meetings and events in a professional setting.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
  • Flexible to work shifts between 7:00am–7:00pm, including occasional out-of-hours support.
