Quality and Compliance Manager

Artis Procurement is pleased to be working with this leading organisation as they look to recruit a Quality and Compliance Manager. This is a key role in ensuring their process and procedures are highly compliant with governing body regulations, certifications, and customer requirements.

Develop, implement, manage and operate Quality, Compliance (regulatory and industrial standards), Safety, Health, Environmental, Sustainability and Pre-qualification systems and operations.

Continual improvement and update of compliance policies and procedures to reflect changes in regulations and industry best practice.

Quality and Compliance Responsibilities…

  • Quality control and assurance aspects of, and maintenance of, finished goods and componentry items.
  • Supplier pre-qualification operations: questionnaires, surveys and audits.
  • Service and project audits and questionnaires.
  • Supply chain pre-qualification and supply chain mapping.
  • Development of the current Health & Safety Systems
  • Development of the current Environmental Systems
  • Sustainability policies, systems and issues such as waste management, plastic tax, SEDEX.
  • Supply Chain regulatory compliances: REACH, Commodity Codes, Customs, Importer of Record etc.
  • Develop business resilience and disaster recovery policy and systems.
  • Customer complaint handling, RMAs, non-conformance reports
  • Hands-on master of the ERP system (NetSuite) and associated reporting tools.
  • Other related tasks as they occur.

Quality and Compliance Responsibilities…

  • Technical/Quality background.
  • Operational and strategic managerial experience.
  • A strong commitment to upholding ethical standards.
  • Very high standards and attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and influencing abilities.
  • Experience in outsourced manufacturing/fillers with associated problem solving.
  • Be a ‘completer’ / ‘finisher’ who gets the job done themselves, and with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written communication, verbal communication, presentation, motivation, and interpersonal skills with a dynamic team working ethos.
  • Competence in office productivity tools such as MS Office, and ERP systems.
  • Experience working in a fast business growth and development environment would be a strong advantage.
  • International experience.
