Risk & Control Manager

Are you a risk and control professional with strong financial services experience? Are you able to start a 9 month contract in the next month? Are you able to come to Bristol once month? If the answer to all these questions is yes then we would be keen to hear from you as we are currently assisting a long standing client of ours with the recruitment of an interim Risk and Controls Manager. Working on the ongoing project of embedding risk and controls across the wider department you will be responsible for the oversight and management of 1st line risk, and support the risk and control function within the highly diverse Business Banking department. A full job description will be provided to shortlisted applicants but if you have a Financial Services background, experience of First Line Operational Risk and have good knowledge and understanding of managing risk events, root cause analysis and RCSA’s then this role would suit you. You’ll be someone who has great communication skills and the ability to work across departments collaborating and influencing at various levels across the business, you’ll have a detailed and analytical mindset and a good understanding of control checking.
