Are you a UK qualified accountant with insurance experience? Do you have good knowledge of applying IFRS and local statutory/regulatory standards and guidelines? If so we want to hear from you as we are helping our well known client bolster their financial business partnering team with the recruitment of a Senior Portfolio Accountant. Based in the City with hybrid working you’ll be responsible for the financial management of certain legacy portfolios from within the organisation ensuring the accounting and controlling, planning and reporting for all financial aspects is in accordance with group guidelines. You’ll be a technically strong accountant with excellent multi tasking sills along with an inquisitive nature able to close processes, manage ledgers, and take ownership for reporting and controls execution. This role will have many interesting facets due to the investigative side of the role but also challenging due to the historical nature of the portfolio. This role could suit an accountant currently working in the insurance sector or an auditor with a background of auditing insurance businesses looking to break into commerce.
