Supply Chain Manager

Artis Procurement, Purchasing and Supply Chain are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Supply Chain Manager to work with a leading FMCG brand. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing supply chain operations and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This is a leadership role, which will require strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills.

Supply Chain Manager Responsibilities…

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with overall business objectives.
• Manage the end-to-end supply chain process, including demand planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor and analyse supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, production, and procurement, to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and quality delivery of goods and services.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
• Mentor and develop team members to achieve professional growth and contribute to the success of the supply chain team.

Supply Chain Manager Experience…

• Strong demonstrable experience in FMCG supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and practices, including demand planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution
• Demonstrated experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives and achieving operational excellence.
• Excellent analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
• Excellent leadership skills, able to mentor and develop your team to deliver high performance.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Relevant supply chain, procurement or purchasing qualifications are desirable.
