This leading Accountancy firm boasts a rich heritage and many successful years of providing their clients with a formidable service. They currently have a requirement to recruit a Manager based out of their Yeovil offices. As part of the Rural team, my client is actively sourcing a candidate that has a passion for agriculture and farming to be part of their exciting team! Ideally you will be fully qualified with several years post qualified experience, ready to take on further management responsibility or, if you are already in possession of management experience, simply after your next challenge. With further growth envisaged, there are excellent prospects on offer here for further training, progression and clear career path

Key responsibilities:

* Deliver clear, well organised and complete basic advisory work independently and more complex advisory work for management review in line with agreed deadlines and standards.
* Gather the necessary information from clients to aid the presentation of a complete file for review
* Budget for client work accurately, agreeing upfront the cost the client can expect to incur
* Ensure client work is completed within the agreed budgets/client costs
* Support the team to help in achieving business targets
* Manage the client relationship
* Mentor and support more junior members of the team to help them understand the role
* Review initial work prepared by Trainee Advisors and Advisor, Seniors and provide review points
* Set an example by attending business development events and successfully engaging with clients to generate new wins

Skills and experience required:
* ACA/ACCA fully qualified coupled with 4-5 years relevant post qualified experience
* Farming, agricultural or equine roots
* Sound knowledge of in-house tax, accountancy and management software tools
* Excellent communication skills, both written and particularly verbal
* Good interpersonal skills with clients and colleagues with strong ability to build rapport
* Ability to share knowledge to help others develop
