*Driving the delivery of regional Information Technology (IT) that optimises quality and cost efficient business and operational outcomes
*Designing, developing, implementing and coordinating systems, policies and procedures in line with the global IT strategy, working closely with the Group IT functions
*Providing an exceptional IT service culture that really delivers for the organisation and all stakeholders.
*Developing and maintaining strong relationships across all functions of the business, with local and global stakeholders, and establishing creditability and expertise across the Leadership Team
*Articulating strategy and new initiatives into actionable, sustainable and measurable plans
*Performing role of interface between local top management and IT management at Europe regional and corporate HQ level
*Agreeing costs, timescales and standards to be met and monitoring these through the project utilising the established global IT project and programme management methodology
*Maintaining organisational effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies and aligning these with regional and global plans.
*Planning, delivering and supporting IT infrastructure operations
*Establishing and maintaining strong, strategic partnerships with vendors and service suppliers
*Coordinating resources with the IT project management office (PMO)
*Ensuring all project deliverables, budgets and timelines are met
*Monitoring performance against targets and deliverables for all contracts
*Communicate all operations issues and impacts to Head of Service Operations and key regional stakeholders
*Take responsibility for customer escalations and act as a point of escalation
*Analysis of performance leading to service changes and improvements to increase user outcomes/level of satisfaction/perceived value of the service
*Collaboratively working with IT Managers, Service Operations Managers in other regions and the Head of Service Operations to continually refine and improve Operations procedures, policies and standards to conform to best practise (ITIL)
*Collaboratively working with IT Managers, Service Operations Manager in other regions and the Head of Service Operations to continually refine and improve Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request and Knowledge Management processes and procedures with best practice
*Strong business stakeholder management
*Experienced in managing third parties
*Experienced in working in a matrix management structured organisation
*Excellent cross functional team management skills
*Written and verbal skills - able to communicate at all levels of the business
*Strong service management skills
*Budget planning & accountability
*Willingness to travel extensively to build expertise
*Fluency in German & English
*Relevant certifications in IT
*Experience managing IT projects using a structured project delivery approach
