Head of Customer Platform required by market leading, award-winning organisation who are looking to implement a new SalesForce platform. This role can be based out of Bristol or London with remote working. Our client can be flexible with the number of days spent onsite per week/month.

The Head of Customer Platform will head up the build of a new and refreshed Customer 360 capability to manage our clients’ customers and partners. The successful candidate will need to build a team, take technical decisions, build, and operate the platform to support both customers and internal colleagues.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Integrate with digital, payments, finance and property management technologies and ensure the organisation gather and use data to inform our clients digital roadmap.
  • You will split your time between hands-on development and team leading activities.
  • Motivate, coach, and manage the customer technology teams and you will be a key interface with marketing, sales, operations and partner stakeholders and teams, as well as other development teams.
  • Track the efficiency of the new platform and make use of technology to minimise complexity, evolving the offering as needed to support growing customer and business needs.
  • Deliver an easy to use and operate platform to help your colleagues delight our clients’ customers
  • Gather requirements from experience, marketing, insight, and operations teams
  • Manage, hire, and upskill the new customer technology team
  • Define the technical roadmaps and recommend improvements
  • Run the customer platform

Required Background:

  • The ideal candidate will have outstanding communication skills, proven CRM, Marketing and Customer Care platform design and implementation capabilities, and a proactive drive to deliver results.
  • You will need be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and will enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • A customer and business focus. You can forge positive relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels. You will explain and simplify technical concepts to colleagues with different skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (Highly desirable)
  • 5+ Years of Customer / CRM Technology Leadership experience
  • Certifications from cloud providers and/or from online course providers (Highly desirable)
  • You have worked on CRM and CDP platforms using leading cloud-based solutions (across one of more vendors, e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics, Hubspot) enabling the creation of a 360 view of prospects and customers and enabling colleagues and channels.
  • Have a customer and business focus. You can forge positive relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels
